Some of these Companies allegedly threaten these sacked professionals with a total loss of severance pay if they do not train these foreign replacements. These foreign replacements can expect to earn between 20 and 33 % less than that prevailing. Then we have outsourcing where so-called white-collar companies export work to poorer countries and indulge in what can only be called slavery by paying workers a pittance, with long working hours, so as to boost Company profits.
