Three BOOS!
BOO to the Professional Engineer who stole Ed Turners Job as City Engineer of Idaho Falls, Idaho, U.S., when Ed received unfair dismissal. BOO also to colleagues who supported this NEW City Engineer.
BOO also to his Professional Society who did not back him in an appropriate way.
When Mr. Ed Turner was dismissed his Professional Society should have blacked his job and instructed other Engineers not to apply for this job. If a rogue Engineer applied, then other Engineers should refuse to work with this Scab.
Can we assume that the present incumbent as City Engineer is doing the work that Ed Turner rightfully refused to do? If so, it makes a mockery of the PE License and renders it a sham. The monitoring Engineer-society is also a sham.
Legal action should have been the last resort because of the unpredictability of the outcome and the possible waste of Members' money!
When will Engineers learn to use more assertiveness and less formality when it comes to solving everyday problems related to their professional well-being?

When will Engineers except the fact that they are NOT second-class citizens and stand on their own two feet. They tackle every task with a negative attitude and waste their Members' money, unnecessarily. Why do they not channel this money into protecting the security of members with regard to jobs, outsourcing, and the importation of cheap labor?
One simple example is their support for the organization, Scientists and Engineers for America (SEA). Whilst the work of the SEA is commendable its real focus is Scientific Research. This is obvious from the outset. As well it can be seen that Engineers don't feature and are only required for their support strength. Lets look at their staff.

They most surely won't have the interests of Engineers at heart? So Engineers, Cop On and look after the real interests of Engineers such a jobs etc.!
Even the title of the organization tells a tale. To be alphabetically correct, the name should be *Engineers and Scientists for America (ESA)* !!

Chartered Engineers' (i.e.,PE's) in Ireland are earning from 75,000 Euros to 90,000 Euros per year.
On conversion to USD's this is from $108,800 to $130,561 per year. Do you earn this amount? If not, why not?
Credit must go to the Irish Engineer-society, Engineers Ireland, for this situation. Is your Engineer-society worthy of credit in this field, or do they, by their silence, indicate that they condone the importation of cheap labor, outsourcing, etc., etc?

Boo to the SKY Professional Engineers who allow their Boss to degrade them on a hourly basis.
The SKY Media Group, under James Murdoch, is polluting Europe with their low Engineer-image by calling their installers and manual workers Engineers. SKY arrogantly and disrespectfully promotes these so-called Engineers in other countries, irrespective of local standards.
SKY Professional Engineers, you are Pathetic to allow this to happen in this modern age, or is
